Salt Water Pools vs Chlorine

A salt water pool is generally less expensive to maintain over time because you don’t need to add chlorine tablets to the water.  You just add salt.  The salt runs thru the purification system and creates chlorine on its own.  The initial cost for the system is more, but after a short period of time, it will pay for itself.  

With a salt system you are spending a lot less time maintaining your pool and more time enjoying it.  The control box on your system regulates most of your water levels.  Once you are familiar with the system, it is easy to use.  You can go away and not have to worry about your pool.  You just need to set your timer.  Just be aware you still have to check the water for PH Levels as well as calcium levels.
